Kineto Fit ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), date of birth, and gender — provided at sign-up.
• Fitness data: workouts logged, XP earned, calorie calculator inputs, and calisthenics progress.
• AI chat messages: messages you send to Jaedyn when the backend is active.

Information collected automatically

• App preferences (theme, units, notification settings) stored locally on your device.
• General usage patterns to improve the App (no personally identifiable information).

3. Camera & Video — Zero Recording Policy

We take your camera privacy extremely seriously. Here is our complete and unconditional policy:

• Nothing is ever recorded. No video, no images, no screenshots — ever.
• All processing is local. When you use the camera features, your camera feed is processed in real time entirely within your browser using TensorFlow.js. No data from your camera is sent over the internet.
• Only keypoints are used. The AI reads only numeric joint position coordinates from each video frame to count reps and assess form. The underlying pixel data is never stored or transmitted.
• No third-party camera access. No analytics service, advertising platform, or external API ever receives any data from your camera session.
• Camera is off when not in use. The camera activates only when you explicitly open the camera modal. It stops the moment you close it.
• You are always in control. You can deny or revoke camera permission at any time. All other App features remain fully functional without camera access.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To personalise your workout plans, calorie targets, and AI coaching.
• To display your progress, rank, and leaderboard position.
• To respond to your messages through Jaedyn AI.
• To improve the App's features and user experience.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party, ever.

5. Data Storage

• Your device (localStorage): App preferences, offline progress, and cached session data. This data never leaves your device unless you are connected to our backend.
• Our servers: When the backend is active, account information, workout history, and XP are stored in a secured database. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• AI providers: Chat messages sent to Jaedyn may be processed by Anthropic or Groq under their respective privacy policies. No fitness data or account details are shared with AI providers beyond what you explicitly type in a message.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your personal data in Settings → Account Info.
• Correction: You can update any profile information at any time in Settings.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in Settings → Security → Delete Account.
• Portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Kineto Fit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
